Default Saltwater Fishing

Will any of you be out on the shore fishing for speckled trout come April, when the season starts? I've read that it's unpopular, but quite rewarding if you step out of your normal routine for it.

That is something I still have to learn about and look forward to. It will be a first time to try my skills in saltwater fishing.

I haven't tried it myself, but I have a few friends who make trips to the ocean once in a while to try their hands at it. They say it's more difficult, but I definitely want to get out there and see for myself.

I have never tried it either. I read that speckled trout like to swim in shallow water and are abundantly available. I should try it. It would be a great experience to fish the specks in the surf.

Just as long as the surf isn't too rough! Hehe, I wonder if anyone's ever had a boat overturned or been knocked over by a wave while fishing for these trout?
