Default Do you use a single fly?

When fly fishing, for a long time I always used a single fly. Just recently I try a team of flies. It seems to be more effective than the single fly. I guess the trout respond more when you give them more options.

I've always used a single fly; how do you tie a team of flies? I'd be interested in learning if it meant I could get a little more action on my line.

I see pictures in books where people show how to use two flies but I always just use a single fly. Alfon, if you're getting more bites then I may have to give it a try.

That's an interesting question. When I'm spin casting, I'll think nothing of adding a couple of additional hooks with bait. But for some reason with fly fishing, I only use one fly. Gotta change things up a bit.
