Default Bamboo fly rods

Have you ever tried out a bamboo fly rod? I've read about them and seen them in stores but I've never had the opportunity to try them out.

It sounds interesting. I have never tried it either. What does it look like? Is it a whole or split bamboo? I wonder if it is strong enough to pull fish out and land it.

I haven't seen bamboo fly rods very frequently. They sure are beautiful though. I've never used one, but I have thought about buying one recently to expand my rod collection.

I have seen one in the store, but to me it looked fragile and may split or break easily. I may try it if I am not successful with the one I got.

Nope, I've never tried one either. I wonder how sturdy they are? I see no one here has tried one yet. I haven't even seen them in the stores. What is the cost? I might give it a try if they aren't too expensive.

These type of rods are usually made of split bamboo and hand crafted. As for the cost, let's just say they cost a lot more than a non-bamboo fly rod.

It costs much more than a conventional rod? Wow! I will most probably not try it. I had better spend my money on top quality flies than a bamboo rod.

Yeah, I don't want to spend much money for a bamboo rod. I assume that it is not retractable, so it is not a type I go for. Btw, is it well hand crafted?
