Lightbulb Time

How much time do you allot for your fishing expedition on any given day? do you do it from dawn till dusk do you have a time allocation for it?

If I'm out on my own or with just one or two adult friends, we might fish for 6 or 7 hours with a break in between for lunch, but when the family is out 4 hours is about the longest we can go, and that's pushing it!

It really depends on how the fishing is coming along. If I'm catching a lot of fish, then I'll stick around longer than planned. But if nothing is happening, I'll cut the trip short.

I'm like Skipper, if I'm catching fish I am staying. If nothing is biting, I tend to leave after 2 hours or so. Life is just so busy.
There has been times when we fish all day or go camping and fish for a couple of days off and on.

Mike you have the same thoughts as my uncle (who I tend to fish with a great deal since he owns the boat). There are days though that from time up till time down we are going a good 12 hours.

I have to admit I'm not the most patient fisherman. If nothing is biting, I'm not wasting my time. If they are biting, I'm there. It's relaxing but fun for me.
