Default Crayfish

My friend told me that I should try crayfish instead of worms. He said that for the trout, crayfish are irresistible. Using live crayfish will make your bait is the most sought after prey by the trout in the area you are fishing. What do you experience in using crayfish?

What kind of trout are you fishing for if you're using crayfish for bait? Wouldn't it have to be pretty large? Maybe something like a steelhead?

I also use live crayfish sometimes and it works pretty well. Use it if you target large trout. Choose the small crayfish to get better result. They should not be longer then 2 inches.
