Make a living fishing trout

I scanned discussions in this forum and assumed that most of you fish trout as a hobby. Is there any of you professionally fishing trout to make a living? If so, it would be great to hear your experiences.

If you mean catching trout to be sold in the market as a way of living, it is done in a different way, I think, by casting nets to catch as many as possible in one casting.

Bandit is right. The nature of angling doesn't allow you to get massive catches in one casting. It would not be practical to fly angle for life.

You could become a guide. They do fish for a living! They host lessons and take new fishermen out to fish. They also provide seminars teaching casting and fly tying. It can be done but I would think things would be slow at first until you are proven.

Oh, if your good at it, I mean really good at it you could go on the economic value of your hobby. You could be a supplier of equipments, supplies, publicsh periodicals, books, organize events, man there is an endless way to make money on this hobby.
