Default Ice fishing?

How many of my fellow fishing friends like to go ice fishing? I was thinking of trying it this winter but wouldn't know where to start. Do trout bite in the winter? Where should I go?

Trout still bite during the winter but for me, the idea of sitting on ice that creaks and moans isn't something that sounds like fun.

Well, though fishing is my hobby, I think fishing in such a freezing weather is just too challenging for me. Still, I will do it if I need the trout for food.

Kidding of course. I'm sure there must be some people who ice fish, right? Of course you wouldn't fish where it wasn't safe to be (thin ice).

A lot of people like to ice fish - I'm just not one of them. There's an entire section of the fishing industry that is devoted to ice fishing. You can buy small sheds, augers, etc., for ice fishing.

I have some crazy friends who love to ice fish! I have always told them they were crazy. Maybe I'll give it a go this time around and see if I can catch a couple of trout. I would think trout would bite anytime, they still have to eat right?

I don't think I could do it for more than an hour or two, and that would be a waste of time if I don't get a bite within the time. I'd be frozen too if I stayed longer.

I think I would try it just to say that I had, but I couldn't see myself becoming a devotee. I'm not a fan of freezing cold temperature, so it just wouldn't work out.

Several of my friends came to my house one day and asked if I wanted to go ice fishing. The idea of being cold was not very enticing so I turned them down. LOL
