Default Mini jigs- fish with them?

If I'm not using worms, I mostly use mini jigs to fish. What I love is that they come in different sizes and shapes.

I've found that when I'm fishing in dark ponds I use a dark or brown jig. If it's a great gorgeous day and I'm out fishing, I'll use a bright rainbow jig.

Do you use mini jigs and how do you use them? Catch anything big with them?

There was one time I was using a white jig and it was a large one. I was slowly reeling it in and something hit it hard. A friend was with me and saw what happened. Next thing I know, the line snapped and I ended up with nothing.

Hey Mike, just wondering what kind of success you've had with mini jigs? How are you presenting the jigs when you fish? Fast or slow retrieve?

I have great luck with the mini-jigs. Whether I pull the line in quick or slow just depends on where I'm fishing and how fast the water is moving. If it's a slow stream or river then I pull in slow. If the water is moving quick, I reel in quicker.

Do you use mini-jigs too? How have you done?
